E-Terms and Conditions FAQ's

WHY USE E-TERMS?

Time is money, we make it everything quick and easy unlike 'off the shelf' templates where you have got to spend time editing the document, entering your details and deleting sections that may not apply. With E-Terms, we ask you some simple questions up front, and then build you a uniquely tailored set of documents that match your business requirements.

WHY SO MANY OPTIONS?

Our options are based on the complexity of the website and applicable regulations. Terms and Conditions for an E-Commerce site are significantly more complex than those for a very simple site or blog. By providing 4 options, we offer competitively priced T&C's for a range of websites, each with the appropriate level of legal cover.

WHAT'S A BROCHURE WEBSITE?

The general terms and conditions, are suitable for any 'information-only' website, usually consisting of just a few general web pages. If you sell services or goods online, promote affiliate products, have adverts, or a blog that allows visitors to add comments, then the general option is NOT suitable for your site. If you're unsure, drop us an email at sales@e-terms.co.uk and we'll point you in the right direction.

CAN YOU REALLY OFFER TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ALL WEBSITES?

Our range of legal documents are suitable for most websites, but we recognise that some websites require something special. If that's the case, we are pleased to be able to offer you preferential “fixed fee” rates from qualified & experienced solicitors, please contact us to discuss further.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY RE-EDITS?

Re-Edits make it easy, when you buy terms and conditions from us, we ask you a number of questions that allow us to custom-build the documents for your website. With most of our packages, you'll have a full month to answer, edit and change your answers and generate your Website Terms and Conditions and of course once you've downloaded them they are your documents so you can adjust outside of our system at anytime.. If you need longer, just let us know.

WHAT IF I'M NOT HAPPY WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS?

We work very hard to offer you the right Terms and Conditions for your website, but sometimes (only occasionally) we have clients who have changed their mind and would prefer to pay a lawyer to create their legal documents. If - for any reason - you're not happy with our service please contact us within 7 days of the purchase. If we can't put it right, we'll provide you a full refund.

HOW DO I INTEGRATE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS INTO MY WEBSITE?

Our e-Terms and Conditions and updated GDPR Privacy Policy can be downloaded in HTML format for direct upload to your site, or can be copied into Word for further editing.
